My husband came back from Tokyo and he brought back many goodies for both of us. Here is some showing off ;) .

This is my favourite ever since the last visit to Japan. This is a foodie magazine, mama’s cafe. Its photos are beautiful to look at, its recipe is not over the top but practical, and informative such as like on how to preserve meat or fish or how to read food labels. I love cooking Japanese style dishes but many times I was let down by the ingredients that I cannot find or there is no alternative here. But this magazine’s recipe is almost always fine.

This issue is about Obento (lunch box) recipe. I look forward to cooking them.
